Stephen Geller Bio
With his adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse 5, winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes, Stephen Geller began working in the international film industries, with Rome as his home base, for nearly twenty years. His teleplay for the miniseries, Warburg: A Man of Influence, won the Silver Bear Award, the most prestigious prize for any international mini-series.
He has also been a novelist since the publication of his first novel, She Let Him Continue, in 1965, and has published fourteen novels. Most recently, the first book of this trilogy, called My Russian Novel, appeared on Amazon.
Stephen Geller also has directed television documentaries, theatre and a feature film. He both created and taught screenwriting programs at Arizona State’s Creative Writing Major, and Boston University’s College of Communication.
David Tenterden was born in the UK and educated at St Pauls School and Jesus College, Cambridge where he read Part I in History (gaining a First) and then Law in Part II. He then qualified as a Solicitor before moving to financial services.
He currently divides his time between Boston, Massachusetts, and Norfolk. He is involved in many philanthropic projects in the US and India.
I feel as though I learned who Gore Vidal was as a person behind the public persona, so to speak, through Steve Geller’s charming writing of their friendship – For that, I think you, Steve!
